Natural Itinerary |
|
The itinerary proposes a guided excursion in the countryside of Sorrento through an ancient mule-track, that once was the only way that connected Sorrento to the little village of Sant’Agata sui due Golfi. From this path you can appreciate the beauty of these places, between the sea and the mountain where, between breathless views and uncontaminated nature, life flows to the rhythm of the past. Leaving from the centre of Sorrento we will reach the village of Santa Lucia, with its ancient little church. Going through the path of the Circompiso, located between citrus groves and olive-groves, we will arrive at the historic centre of Sant’Agata, where you can enjoy a unique view of the Naples and Salerno gulfs. We will finally go to Villa Conola, an ancient farm-house set in the green of the peninsula, where, besides the relax that offers the countryside, you can taste the gastronomic specialities and the wines of the villa. (the return will be by a shuttle service, the tour lasts about 5 hours, actual trekking length: about 3 hours, medium-low difficulty )
