Positano    Buca di Bacco, a fascinating and curios name rich in tradition and with a story behind it. Literally "Buca" means tavern or cellar and "Bacco" is the god of wine Dyonissus or Bacchus of Greek mythology.The story begins in the early ‘900s, when a group of artists and intellectuals, in that period frequent visitors of Positano, gave this name to the cellar of a restaurant at the time used as a romantic and exclusive dance night club.     Today like at those times, to hand down the taste of the tradition and of the dishes, cooked with attention and refinement, are the owners Mrs Anna and Mrs Carla (aunt and nephew) who control and cook many specialties.    The Buca di Bacco today looks very different from what it did at the beginning of the century. The Hotel to which the old dance club gave origin, offers today modern facilities and fine service, always keeping up with the changing times.
