centres fixed with the ASL. The Di Meglios
have a Tuscany origins and settled in
Ischia, actually Barano d’Ischio, in 1300.

organization is run by family…
Our cooking experience is typically
Mediterranean, and it is rich of dishes that
recall the traditional flavours of Ischia,
the Chef Natale with about 22 years of
cooking experience, has worked for the
best restaurants of the island and runs his
kitchen with responsibility.
The manager Nicola, the oldest of the
family, creator of this new family activity,
willing to travel around the world, got is
Captain diploma in 1972 and embarked for the
first time in Genova, in 1973, where he made
career in the next 5 years and became the
first official. Not yet satisfied of his
life, in 1979,decieded to move to Berlin,
starting thus a new experience in the
gastronomic field, from dishwasher to owner
of the Ischia Restaurant, still existing
nowadays. It’s the oldest ischian restaurant
of Berlin, it has a rich enoteca, an
excellent gallery and the catering service.
So the Ischia restaurant is attended
by business men, politicians, show people
and simple people, but all of them have
something in common: they appreciate the
good Italian cooking, based upon simplicity
and the respect for the traditions of Ischia |
