IL MIRACOLO DEL SANGUE

19th, the blood of San Gennaro, kept in the
Duomo in two bulbs, melts. The rite that takes
part in a procession that goes back to the end
of ‘300 and in Naples it is considered a kind of
oracle: if the miracle do not happen it is a
presentiment for serious misfortunes.

“Coast Sorrento”
Gathering

Sorrento in the morning. Stop for free time for lunch. .
Arrival in Sorrento in the evening. Meeting with our tour

“Naples and Pompeii”
Breakfast and departure for Naples and visit of this
beautiful town considered the main Mediterranean port.
Guided tour of Royal Palace, the New Castle known as Maschio
Angioino, the theatre of San Carlo (Opera house) born in
‘700, Castel Captano and the seaside from which you can
admire a picturesque view. Lunch in a restaurant. Departure
for Pompeii. In the afternoon guided tour of the excavations,
one of the most famous archaeological centres of the world,
that offers the visitor an impressive picture of the
topography and the lifestyle of an ancient roman city buried
under the Vesuvio eruption in 79 AC. Return to the hotel,
dinner and overnight stay.

3 day “Capri”
Breakfast.
Departure for the excursion of Capri by ferry-boat. Meeting
with the tourist guide who will stay with the group all the
day long. Tour of the island by minibus to know the natural
beauties and the wonderful views of this charming island. We
will see the Parco Augusteo, Anacapri, Capri and Villa San
Michele from whose terrace you will enjoy a splendid view.
Free time for lunch. In the afternoon you can either choose
to take part to an optional tour in a boat inside the famous
Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra) or to a tour of the island by
boat. Return to Sorrento by boat and walk in this town with
the tour manager; Sorrento is also known thanks to its
production of oranges, lemons and esteemed wines. Return to
the hotel for dinner. Optional: after dinner you can go to a
folkloristic show.
4 day “Cassino and Rome”
Breakfast and departure to go and visit the Abbazia di
Montecassino, which is still the symbol of monasticism in
Italy, despite its many reconstructions. In this place, San
Benedetto dictated his Rule (ora et labora) and founded the
religious order that has many followers still today. Lunch
in a restaurant. In the early afternoon we will leave for
Rome. A panoramic tour of the town. Arrival to the hotel and
check in. Overnight stay..
5 day “Roma”
Breakfast.
In the morning guided tour of the city, we will see: Piazza
Venezia, the Vittoriano, the Campidoglio, via dei Fori
Imperiali, the outside of the Coliseum, The Arch of
Costantino and Città del Vaticano. Free time for lunch. In
the afternoon we will have a walk with the tour guide across
the most important squares of Rome: Piazza Navona, Piazza di
Spagna and the Pantheon. Return to the hotel for dinner.
Optional: after dinner you can go around with the tour
manager to admire Rome enlightened and stop at the Fontana
di Trevi. Overnight stay.
6 day “Rome”
Breakfast. Check out. Departure for Sorrento.. Stop for
free time for lunch, and final meeting in the evening. End
